This may be a stupid question, but since I really am stupid, I'll ask it anyway.........Why are there no sidecars at the Manx?????

I am an ex-sidecar passenger from the 1960s and we were told at the time that because of the unreliability record of sidecars, they would not be considered as a class for the Manx. Has anyone got ant other reason or theory?
