Post Classic classes - beerat - 23-01-2009

Can someone tell me if the two classes for 250's in the post classic race are fro GP bikes and production bikes
It say's factory bikes 126 to 250 with a cut off date of Dec '84 and 126 to 250 with standard ignition and no airboxes with a cut off date of Dec '91
So is say a TZ 250 A or B eligable , these being GP bikes within the '91 cut off
Or is the '91 cut off for TZR, RGV ,NSR production bikes ?

Just a bit confused by the way it is written Bonk

RE: Post Classic classes - The Bag - 23-01-2009

The way I interprited it the 91 b yamaha would be eligible but i'm waiting for a response from the mgp office. Personaaly if this is the case i think the cut off date should have been 1990 at the latest a a b can use parts upto 1999 without any trace if you're careful?????

Pigfly
What do you mean Russ smilie
I know of two B's that can lap just fine !!!!!!!!!
You will have to work extra hard this year if the Scone ranger get's a 250 A or are you making a comeback ????

See you

It would be virtually impossible to update a "B" without it being obvious.

126-250cc. Standard frames, Standard fairing, Standard ignition, no airboxes. Any brakes. Cut off dates 1st January 1985 - 31st December 1991

A "B" frame, fairing and ignition(2x boxes) are unique from the rest of the v-twin range and airboxes would be easily seen.

Sure an "A" has lapped faster than a "B" anyway, MR Lougher in '90!
