That's the question being investigated by the Office of Fair Trading as it looks into the company's fares and profits.
The probe was announced by OFT chairman Bill Henderson, who expressed his concerns over the company's continuing fuel surcharges.
The investigation will involve a full analysis of the company's prices, with reference to both profitability and to fares charged on comparable routes.
