Race delayed to an 11.45 start due to inclement weather.
Further delay until a potential 12:45 start now for this race.
Obviously there will be a knock-on effect to this afternoons Sidecar 2 race.
11:45 - Reports that there is rain at Glen Helen
13:40 - Going for a 14:00 hr start.

Looks like they are going for a start at 14:00 hrs.
Lots of riders stating they are not happy as it has been announced that there are lots of damp/wet patches up to Ballaugh, McGuinness and Hutchy among them.

Mats Nillson is a non-starter
Mark Parrrett did not appear on the grid.
And they are away with Gary Johnson heading to St Ninians.
Next is McGuinness and he is followed by Amor.
4th to head out is Hutchy and he is followed by Ansty, (not sounding too good)'
Next it is W Dunlop and then Steve "Shiraz" Plater,
Then goes Guy "teabag" Martin followed by Lougher.

M Dunlop. Farquhar and Cummins are the 123 at Glen Helen and Dan Kneen is in 7th spot. All the big names are taking it easy it would appear
First through on the road is Johnson then McGuinness close behind, next is Amor and together are Ansty and Hutchy.
A gap now to Plater and Martin together, then comes M Dunlop, Cummins and Lougher all close together.

Looks like Conor had a "slow" between Glen Helen and Ballaugh as he dropped his lead over Ansty to just 1 second.
Ansty leads on the road followed by Amor.
