On another site there is a posting that Mal Carter has sadly passed away, RIP BIG MAL.

The funeral of Mal Carter who passed away last Sun 13/09/09 will take place at Park Wood Crematoriam ,park rd, Elland, West Yorkshire at 4 30pm on monday 21 st Sept.

yes, a great sponsor, although i did disagree with him holding ron back in this country for too long. hasn't anybody ever done a biography on this man? or an autobiography? surely there's a lot of stories he could have told us. r.i.p mal.
