BSB and TT stars head for Wannerroo - Malcolm - 03-11-2009 Top British racers are in Australia this weekend for the 2009 Kings of Wannerroo International. Headlining the entry are WSB starJonathan Rea and former MotoGP man Jeremy McWilliams while MSS Kawasaki’s Simon Andrews plus Relentless by TAS Suzuki duo Ian Lowry and Alastair Seeley top the BSB contingent along with roads men Guy Martin, Keith Amor, Conor Cummins, Ryan Farqhuar and Ian Lougher. In this, the second annual running of the ‘Kings’ at Barbagallo Raceway Wanneroo, the Brits all ride locally-provided 1000cc machines in the ‘production superbike race’ and will line up against top Aussies on similar bikes. It’s only the third time in the history of motorcycle road racing in Western Australia that such a large number of international competitors will compete at the track. In 1972 it was the Pan Pacific Series finale that came to Perth featuring five internationals. Last year there were nine internationals joined by the Australian Superbike Champion Glenn Allerton - who was the inaugural winner of the Kings International for 2008.
