Unveiling The Italian e-motorcycle of CRP - Malcolm - 24-12-2009 The R&D dept. of the Italian factory CRP Racing is producing its e-motorcycle for teams participating in TTXGP 2010 series, the world's first zero carbon, clean emission motorsport event. The eCRP 1.0 will be unveiled in Birmingham on 13th January at the Green Conference "Cleaner Racing Conference" organized by the Motorsport Industry Association (MIA) and will be on show the following day at the Autosport exhibition. The Italian style and design on two wheels, the eCRP 1.0, is a pure racing bike, easy to handle for its dimensions and shape, with a strong "racing" look, coming from CRP's extensive knowledge and experience in motorsport and state-of-the-art technologies. This is the first made-in-Italy zero emission motorcycle in the prestigious TTXGP 2010 Championships which will see races taking place in UK, North America and Italy! The combination of CRP and TTXGP shows the real benefit of working together to progress innovative technology and, at the same time, bring the first eGrandPrix to Italy. TTXGP is writing a new chapter in the history of motorsport and working with others to fuel the next generation of engineers and technologists who will make the difference in defining the future of our planet. eCRP 1.0 technical specs FRAME Aluminium double beam REAR SWING ARM Aluminum Alloy FRONT SUSPENSION "Upside-Down" telescopic hydraulic fork OHLINS Stem dia. 43 mm REAR SUSPENSION OHLINS Hydraulic progressive shock absorber FRONT BRAKE Floating Braking Wave diskDisc dia. 320 mm REAR BRAKE Single Braking Wave diskDisc dia. 220 mm CALIPER Four pistons radial "Brembo" caliper WHEEL RIMS Forged Aluminum MarchesiniFront Rim - Size 3.50"x17''Rear Rim - Size 5.50''x17" FRONT TIRE Front Tire - Size 120 x 70-17 REAR TIRE Rear Tire - Size 165 x 60- 17 WHEELBASE Wheelbase -1376 mm MOTORS Dual DC "Agni 95" electric motors.
