TT3D - 3D Road racing documentary - Archive appeal - jab_tt - 16-04-2010 (Apologies for double post from general forums) An Appeal to all road racing fans, As you may have seen from the recent press releases, for the first time road racing will soon be hitting the silver screen in glorious 3D! We are producing a cinematic documentary that covers the rich history of the sport by following the modern competitors into the TT and NW 200 whilst also reliving and celebrating the stories, achivements and lives of the heroes who came before them. As part of this we are appealing to all fans for any videos or photography that you would like to contribute towards what is set to become a memorable landmark in road racing history. All archive contributed would be on a temporary basis and its return guaranteed, plus you will be fully credited in the film with any film negatives restored and reproduced on a DVD for your future viewing. Due to the very high restoration/ conversion costs we are unable to offer financial payment, however the incentive for anyone interested would be to have their treasured footage restored and projected in full 3D to a global audience. We are lookiong for the little pieces of unseen history - both on and off track - which only the dedicated spectators can provide and are interested in all periods of the NW200 & TT, as well as all road racing venues and riders from Athea to Maccau, the Colliers to Conor Commins. Anyone interested or who has any inquieries about the film and how their materials would be used, please contact me - Josh Bloom 0207 637 2612 or josh.bloom@cinemanx.com - Or if anyone would like to request a press release. Thanks for your time, we hope this is something that will appeal to anyone who wants to be involved with a film that will become as much a part of the sports history as No Limits or Road Racers. Look forward to seeing you all in the summer. - Josh |
