NW200 Reported Incident - Malcolm - 15-05-2010
A man aged in his 20s is critically ill in hospital after falling on to rocks at the North West 200.
It happened on the Ballyreagh Road in Portrush, close to the Rock Restaurant.
The 3pm race was delayed while police officers administered CPR to the spectator.
He has been flown to the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast by the PSNI helicopter.
A spokesperson for the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service said the man had fallen around sixty feet from a cliff top.
The rest of the day's races at the major motorcycling event went ahead without delay.
