Phamous Gorse Lea Pheasant Phor Phly Past - John Foster - 28-05-2010 The Phamous Drench Gorse Lea Pheasant is expected to perform a single fly-past this Saturday evening at Gorse Lea. Subject to favourable wind and weather conditions, and clearance from Air Traffic Control, The Pheasant will cross the TT Course in a south-westerly direction. He is expected to pass between the 7th Milestone and the gateway to Gorse Lea House, at approximately 19.21 hours, cruising at an altitude of Conor Cummins. Should his busy schedule permit, The Gorse Lea Pheasant may agree to meet fans at the bottom of Harold's back field. No photographs, please! Keep clear of Restricted Areas. The Gorse Lea Marshals acknowledge the support of the makers of Drench Juicy Spring Water in agreeing to this event (and will be happy to take delivery of a few crates for field and hedge trials). RE: Phamous Gorse Lea Pheasant Phor Phly Past - John Foster - 29-05-2010 APOLOGY The hundreds who gathered to watch the event will understand that, due to the poor visibility there this evening, the Gorse Lea Pheasant was unable to perform the scheduled fly past. It is hoped that he will be able to put in an appearance next week. RE: Phamous Gorse Lea Pheasant Phor Phly Past - John Foster - 02-06-2010 The Phamous Pheasant performed a particularly plucky phly past at 19.19 hours during yesterday's practice. This was 2 minutes ahead of schedule and on a new flight path crossing the Course half way between Gorse Lea and Ballagarraghyn. The bold bird later strutted casually across the road before the sidecars came through. I can only apologise to all the disappointed fans who sat amongst the midges on Harold's wall and missed the celebrity's appearance.
