Ian Hutchinson races to Ulster GP treble at Dundrod - Malcolm - 14-08-2010 English rider Ian Hutchinson has clinched three wins in the Ulster Grand Prix at Dundrod on Saturday. Hutchinson set a new lap record of 132.16mph as he won the Superstock race and he again pipped Scotsman Keith Amor in the first Supersport race. The Yorkshire man made a late charge to win the opening Superbike race on his Padgett's Honda with New Zealander Bruce Anstey and Amor in third. Ian Lougher won the 250s race with Ryan Farquhar taking a Supertwins victory. Amor moved clear in the early laps of the Superstock event but Hutchinson reeled him in before nudging ahead. Falkirk rider Amor regained the lead but a red flag meant the result was decided on positions at the end of the previous lap, leaving Hutchinson as the winner. Dungannon's Ryan Farquhar completed the podium places. "I thought Keith was out of reach but I never give in," said Hutchinson. "I like riding round here - anything can happen but I'm delighted we have a Superstock win." The race was stopped after a rider and two spectators were injured in a crash on the circuit. After an hour-long delay organisers decided to reduce races from seven to six laps. Hutchinson, Amor and Michael Dunlop all led during a thrilling first Supersport race but it was Bingley racer who came out on top to take his fourth UGP success. Dunlop had the consolation of setting a new lap record of 128.60. Dromara-based Welshman Lougher dominated the 250 event with William Dunlop second and his cousin Paul Robinson in third. The opening Superbike race was another close affair between Hutchinson, Amor, Anstey and Guy Martin. Backmarkers helped Hutchinson to move pass Amor on the final lap and Anstey also came through to snatch second spot. Saturday 14 August
