Which Race Classification Did You Prefer ? - Malcolm - 09-09-2010

Of the 7 classifications of race categories at this years Manx Grand Prix, which one was preferred by you above all of the others, and why ?

You have a multiple choice in this poll, to enable your 1, 2 & 3 choices

I prefer the Junior MGP, I like the modern bikes, and also the size of the entry, hopefully next year it will be back to over 100+ entries.

I've been predictable and voted for the two strokes! But actually, Philip McGurk's win on the Ultra lightweight was more interesting than the 250's. I've also voted for the Senior Classic, I really enjoyed that race with so many changes to the top 3. However, the lack of entries in that class was worrying and left empty road for a lot of the time.

So the most voted for class of race machinery at this years Manx turns out to be the Post Classic with just over 33% of the votes polled.

Full Results

Post Classic 33.33%
Senior Classic 22.22%
Lightweight/Ulta-Lightweight 14.81%
Junior/Lightweight Classic 11.11%
Junior MGP 7.41%
Senior MGP 7.41%
Newcomers 3.70%
Parade Lap 0%

Is this because this class has brought something new and different to the meeting or is it because people are fed up watching the usual run of the mill 4 cylinder Japanese machines that are prevalent in those classes that have polled the lower %ages ?

Any opinions folks ?
