As maybe most of you are aware young Wayne Hamilton from Portadown N.Ireland died after a crash at the Junior Manx Grand Prix on Monday.

He had won the Newcomers 'A' Race at the Manx Grand Prix on Saturday and had me thinking about his bright future ahead of him.

I was tucked up in bed last night with my head phones on (Australia) and was listening to Manx Radio waiting on the news of the reason why he had retired when the sad news was broadcasted.

Our sport can be so cruel sometimes.
