A cloudy start to the day with the odd shower possible at first, as well as some patchy mist affecting some areas, especially around southern coasts and hills. The showers will die out as the morning goes on, with the cloud gradually thinning and breaking, allowing bright and sunny spells to develop during the afternoon and evening.
