The low cloud we are experiencing this morning has forced a delay to todays racing. A further announcement will be made at 10.30 am. I can (on a good day) see Snaefell from the bedroom window, I can't see more than a quarter-mile this morning!

Does that mean people on Snaefell can see into your bedroom Bill?
Thanks for the news. You can hardly see the water on the Manx Radio web cam and the Douglas weather web cam is very foggy as well.

Further delay; more information at 11.30am. The Met men say it will clear for this afternoon - fingers crossed!

Really hope so. If the racing were to be postponed till tomorrow, it is unlikely the Steam Packet Races would go ahead, even though they can run on Sunday, as most "away" riders would have gone home.

Looks like it's going to be the afternoon before the racing could start, according to the latest radio announcenment.
