A big thank you, through the TT message board, to everyone who has written, sent cards, phoned, e-mailed, called and stopped me in the street following my award of an MBE [Medical Biking Endeavours!!] in the Queens Birthday Honours. The award was for services to motorsport medicine in the Isle of Man but I like to think it was for everyone involved in providing Motorsport Medical Services at Manx events, as without a doubt, looking after injured competitors is always a team effort by all concerned. Thanks to you all.
