MCE Insurance British Superbike contenders will head to Spain next week as the teams continue their pre-season preparations ahead of the Easter opening round at Donington Park on 4/5/6 April.
The week kicks off with a test at Almeria, which will feature 2014 Showdown-contending teams Buildbase BMW and Quattro Plant Kawasaki. The will also mark the second Spanish test for reigning Champions PBM Kawasaki as Shane 'Shakey' Byrne will be back on track, however his arch rival from last season, Ryuichi Kiyonari, will not make his 2015 debut until the of beginning of March.
Later in the week several teams head to Cartagena including Tyco BMW, Halsall Suzuki and JG Speedfit Kawasaki who all make their 2015 on track debut with their new rider line-ups. The test will also mark the first appearances for the Lloyds British Ducati team with the new Panigale and Be Wiser Kawasaki.
The Milwaukee Yamaha team will break cover at Alcarras the second week of March with Josh Brookes and Broc Parkes joining the official Yamaha Racing test to experience the new R1 race bikes for the first time.
Meanwhile at Jerez, Anvil Hire TAG Kawasaki team roll out for their first laps at the end of the second week of March. Honda Racing will also be back on track at Monteblanco at the end of the month as Dan Linfoot and Jason O'Halloran are joined by Jenny Tinmouth for her first test with the factory team.
The teams will then return to the UK ready for the official test at Donington Park on March 26.
The 2015 MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship kicks off at Donington Park this Easter (4/5/6 April) for the opening round of the season.
