Like a TT Rider ?
Did my ears deceive me--Did the Commentators say that Rossi rode his last few laps "like a TT Rider"......??????
I'm NOT completely sure how this comparison fitted in...
Can anyone enlighten me ??

Re: Like a TT Rider ?
Yes thats what they said , i assumed they meant that he was riding against the clock as opposed to racing another bike....to make up his 10 sec penalty.

Re: Like a TT Rider ?
Yes, I heard that!
I wonder if anyone else was imagining (as I was!) Rossi on the V5 going through Kirkmichael and Rhencullen!
Now THAT makes my flesh tingle!!

Re: Like a TT Rider ?
Rossi would not be good for the TT races. He would never race flat out with fix obstacles at the side of the course. Simply he has another concept of the risk...

Re: Like a TT Rider ?
Yes Marco, you are right, of course!
But allow me to imagine!
Actually, Agostini did it.
Also Renzo Passolini (I loved to wathc him!)
But, we all remember (those old enough) the tragic accidents that took away Gilberto Parlotti and Santi Horera.
The T.T. as a Grand Prix course was very unforgiving.
I will always be grateful to have seen the ones who dared!
