Yes that is sad news i remember him at Bill Smiths motors rushing around like there was no tomorrow but always had time for a natter RIP Steve and condolences to his family and friends

Very sad news. There will be very few riders who were more enthusiastic than Steve, and an excellent rider until well into retirement age.
Just looked up his record, and I hadn't realised that his career covered 40 years on the TT course.
A lovely chap, he will be much missed, and I offer my sympathy to his family.

Super sad news. Steve was a really nice bloke, and always helpful.
If I remember correctly, Steve was stopped by the TT organizers because of his age, he wanted to carry on?
Condolences to his family and friends.
