Last year at The TT there was a ”parade” of ordinary bikers riding one lap around the TT course. The event took place on the first racing day before the first race. Does anybody know about that event? Will it be this year as well? Who is the organizer? Or is it spontaneous? Any fee to take part? Where is the meeting point? At what time, please?

The Simon Andrews Lap is scheduled for Sunday 5th June.
Details
A celebratory lap to remember family, friends and fallen riders. We are asking people to start arriving at the TT pit lane from 9am onwards with the lap due to start at 10am.
Once again we would ask all participants to rev there engines at 9.59am for a minute to signify the start of the lap ( let the heavens hear the thunder of bikes).
T Shirts will be available from the Joey Dunlop Foundation throughout the TT fortnight from the grandstand area and donation buckets will be going around on the morning of the event will all monies split between The Joey Dunlop Foundation the Manx Hyperbaric Chamber and Simon Andrews Fund.
Thank you! Now I remember. The first race 2015 was on Mad Sunday because of strong winds and the helicopter crash at 33rd on Saturday. That's why the parade last year was before and on the same day as the first race, but now I realise that it's not the normal.
