God, I thought I'd be able to stay away from this one!!
One Dragon only - 1973 I think it was. On a mountaintop above Colwyn Bay (I think).
Snow.
Tent (v. small) with three of us in it. On a slope.
Rained. Water in through uphill end, through tent, and out downhill.
Sleeping bag split. Down-filled, it was.
Breakfast - bacon, eggs and feathers.
On way home, on CB750K1, across A75 to Stranraer.
Fuse went in middle of the S-bend under railway - instant blackness (was 3am)
Pillion passenger woke up(!!)
Not happy - well, it was his bike!!!!!
Kept badge to remind me - never to do it again.
begger you lot -- I'd forgotten all this and am not happy to remember it all again!!

Briliant memories though Larry but it also reminds me when 2 of us attempted to climb Snowdon on a sunny Sunday afternoon, guess what we didnt get very far as were aboard Ariel Arrows and the exausts kept grounding,over to you Elwyn its on your patch?
