Tyco, the security products division of Johnson Controls, has confirmed its continuing association with TAS Racing who are the official representatives of BMW Motorrad UK running under the Tyco BMW  banner in the British Superbike Championship and on the International Road Racing scene.

The combined force of TAS Racing and Tyco have together celebrated over 50 race victories and a further 100 podium finishes since their partnership began and are looking ahead positively to the 2018 racing season.

“We are delighted to have the opportunity to continue our association with TAS racing during 2018 as the Tyco/BMW Motorrad racing team reflects the quality and winning mentality of the Tyco brand,”

said Paul Mildon, Senior Marketing Manager – EMEA, Security Products Building Technologies & Solutions for Johnson Controls.

“All the members of the Tyco/BMW Motorrad  team share our ‘can-do’ positive attitude towards achieving our targets and to always look for opportunities for continual improvement in everything we do to support our customers.”

Tyco BMW Team Manager – Philip Neill:

“The relationship between Tas Racing and Tyco is very much a partnership in the true sense of the word and we look forward to continuing together and building on our considerable success record. Together with BMW Motorrad we forward to a positive year ahead as we continue to represent our partners at the highest level across British Superbike and International Road racing”

The Tyco BMW Motorrad team will be looking to build on previous podium success on both the British short circuits and International roads this season. With the BMW S 1000 RR sporting a new 2018 livery, Christian Iddon and Michael Laverty will be spearheading the team’s assault on the Superbike class, with Keith Farmer challenging for the National Superstock 1000 title in the Bennetts British Superbike Championship. In addition, Dan Kneen will represent Tyco BMW on the International roads whilst Alastair Seeley has rejoined the team to compete in the Vauxhall International North West 200 race meeting.
