Guy had a spill in the final race of the day at Jurby this afternoon which caused the race to be red-flagged and abandoned due to a shortage of time. I'm told that he was seen walking out of the ambulance shortly afterwards, so hopefully he's not too badly hurt and he will be OK for the start of TT Practice this time next week. I don't know about his bike though - I saw the remains of the fairing at the side of the road on my way home, and it was second-hand to say the least.

Local competitor John Crellin also crashed heavily in practice, which delayed proceedings for quite a while. Haven't heard any definite news, but hopefully it's not too serious. Another faller was Barry Wood, but that was only a minor slip-off at Cronk Hairpin and Barry was out again in the following race.
