Cloudy today with patchy light rain developing this morning then becoming more widespread, persistent and heavy at times this afternoon and evening with lowering hill fog.

The wind will freshen from the southeast this morning, then swinging southwest later in the day.

Temperatures only reaching 14 or 15 Celsius at best in the north.
