At the Annual General Meeting of the Manx Motor Cycle Club, held last Friday, the Club’s very popular Welfare Officer, Wyn Evans MBE was nominated to the position of a Hon Vice President of the Club.

In proposing Wyn for the position, former Chief Timekeeper John Stott said that she had assisted Jack Wood for 3 years from 1998 as Welfare Officer for the Manx, before taking on the position herself and continues in the job today.

A Trustee of the ACU Benevolent Fund, Wyn has worked tirelessly to promote the fund on the Island in addition to her duties in looking after the welfare of the riders.

Retired Clerk of the Course, Jack Wood seconded Wyn’s nomination.
