I know that forecasts for the island are infamously unreliable, but when the BBC has wall to wall sunshine for the first five days it has significantly raised my excitement levels

As a pilot, I can tell you that weather forecasts are horoscopes with numbers!

That said, I'm hoping for a warm & sunny TT fortnight

Last time I went to the TT was 2006, the weather was amazing

It's looking a little shaky from middle of race week onwards. That can change though, good for all practice week and half of race week, fingers crossed it stays that way

Weather's looking stellar for the whole fortnight. Fingers crossed it remains as per forecast.

To say I'm getting giddy is an understatement. I've been making the TT pilgrimage since 1986 and I'm just as excited now as i were when I were a wide eyed late teenager first time visitor.

This buzz never gets old..... I do though 😁😁
