I've just signed up. Could be useful if it is used correctly. Live updates on changes to schedule etc straight to What's App on your phone. Sort of like receiving your own messages from the organisers.

Ya iv signed up as well. If you get the what's app early enough you could get a extra hour in bed

Just signed up and seems a really good idea.

Is it something like Twitter (in the early days!)?
I signed up for that years ago at the TT & just followed the Manx police & race organisers, so I could get roads closed & delay 'tweets'.
as time's gone on I followed more & more people, some have become friends to be fair, but I get more 'tweets' than I can look at!

Not really like Twitter in the way that it operates. It is a one way message and no ability to comment or respond, so more like 'Messages' on your phone. The content might be similar though.
