paul walton Just Getting Started Posts: 1 Threads: 1 Joined: May 2025 Reputation: 0 #1 Joey in NZ 1995 Joey Dunlop in New Zealand. During Christmas 1994, New Year 1995. Joey led, what was termed as a 'UK Invasion', a group of British and Irish motorcycle racers to compete in a series of races throughout New Zealand, including Ian Lougher and Emlyn Hughs. Christchurch, in the South Island, saw Joey and the other riders race at the suburban New Brighton Street Race and also on the circuit track at Ruapuna. Joey rode a Honda RS125 supplied by Pacific Motorcycles Christchurch, and a Honda RS250 brought out from the UK.
