Oliver's Mount Race season starts early in 2008,. The Ian Watson Spring National A Oliver's Mount moves from its traditional May Bank Holiday Monday to Sunday 20th April.

The Bank Holiday Festival of Speed will now become a 3 day Bike and Car Hill Climb, there will also be a car and bike show plus other attractions and social events.

International Bike Week has been shelved for two years but all the traditional events will still take place during the summer, if you look at the calendar you will see the Barry Sheene week end goes into June and the Cock o' the North moves into mid July. The International Gold Cup will be on 20/21 September not the previous week as published at last Septembers event
