Hi to everyone again, I know it’s a bit late but Happy New Year to each and everyone.
Since the last time I gave an update things have move on considerably on the racing scene. It has been rather hectic over the past few weeks but it has been worthwhile as I am pleased to announce that a new sponsor has come onboard and the new superbike has arrived!!
For 2009 I can reveal the team will be running under the new name of ' BE Racing '. BE Racing originates from 'Burrows Engineering' which some of you may already know is the name of my Engineering business. The racing colours have also changed, this year they are red and black. This colour scheme dates back to 2004 when I first raced under these colours on my 750 Suzuki at the Manx Grand Prix .
Thankfully for this season all my personal sponsors are still on board apart from one, but to him I thank sincerely for his years of support.
I am delighted to take this opportunity to introduce and welcome a new sponsor to the race team this year. H2 Engineering are a Co Tyrone based firm and specialise in, Sectional Sheds, Portal Frame Garages and workshops, they also manufacture roof cladding from their premises located outside Dungannon, for more information on H2 Engineering you can visit their web site on

It is always nice to bring on new sponsors ,but it is also equally important to hold on to old ones. For 2009 BE Racing will have the backing of ;Burrows Engineering, Kronos Audio Visual, George Davidson Work Space Rentals, Wayne Acheson Racing, Joni B Supporters Club, T.A.S Racing, Ian Burrows Car Body Repairs, Daingean MCC, G.M.C Graphics, Beta Tools, N.G.K, Shark Helmets, Goodridge, Knox, Speedycom, Pazzo, R&G, T.C.X boots, Silkolene Oils, Scott leathers and Skidmarx Screens.
This weekend is the Motorbike show in Belfast . My Supporter’s Club are having their annual stand , where you will be able to see the Superbike , so if you’re at the show please feel free to stop by and have a chat with us about the new team set up for this year , we may even be able to squeeze a few pounds out of your pocket with a chance to win our new mini moto painted up in team colours!
Before I end this months report may I on behalf of my team offer our condolences to Davy Morgan whose father passed away suddenly this week.
