The first bike race meeting was held at Oulton Park in 1953. Does anyone have a date for this meeting? Were there more than one meeting at the Cheshire circuit that year? We have a selection of photographs, including this nice one of Dudley Edlin on his Melem Special; does anyone have a programme to identify other riders. The winner of the main race was Percy Tait (Norton) who won the Dearden Trophy.
