It's understood the sidecar outfit belonging to Simon Neary has been impounded by police investigating a double-fatality during Tuesday's practice.

Neary and his passenger Jason Crowe were absent from Wednesdays' session.

It's believed their Honda is suspected of leaking oil onto the circuit before the crash at Ballacrye.

Bill Currie and Kevin Morgan, a sidecar pairing from the UK, died.

A full investigation into the exact cause of the crash is underway.

Energy FM News have asked TT organisers about the circumstances, a spokesperson for the TT said they would be preparing a statement.
