Ian Hutchinson is to ride one of Ryan Farquhar's KMR Kawasakis at Oliver’s Mount, Scarborough on Sunday at the Steve Henshaw International Gold Cup Road Races.
‘Hutchy’ the 2010 Gold Cup winner will accompany the current Gold Cup holder during a special Parade Lap when the Ulsterman will say a special thank you to his legions of fans for all their support during his amazing road racing career which includes a total of 98 wins at the 2.43-mile North Yorkshire venue.
Ryan and Ian will commence the ‘Thank You’ Lap at around 12.30pm on Sunday 16th September, which Peter Hillaby, Race organiser says will allow Ryan to say a fond farewell to all the Oliver’s Mount fans and in turn it will give them the opportunity to show their appreciation of a great sportsman who has entered the crowds at ‘The Mount’ for more than a decade.
