I have just heard that Gerald Brown from Stafford has passed away. Gerald was one the most enthusiastic sponsors of the 70s, and particularly of the T.T. He sponsored John Williams, Charlie Williams and number of club riders and gave me my first ever 350 yamaha ride in the T.T.

I also had the opportunity to ride an ex works 125 Morbidelli at Snetterton that he wanted trying out before he handed it over to South African Gordon Keith for the G.Ps.

My sympathy goes to his family.

Its been a sad week and Gerald was a true gentleman who helped many a rider on their road to fame RIP Gerald.
