11-time Isle of Man TT winner Ian Hutchinson got his first taste of Tyco BMW S1000RR Superbike action at Cartagena in Spain, and was suitably impressed with the TAS Racing prepared machinery.

“We are obviously working from scratch to get the bike to suit my style but immediately the chassis feels superb,” explained the Bingley ace. “I thought the Superstock bike was impressive – and it is – but I was itching to get on the Superbike and I have to say I wasn’t disappointed. It’s starting to really feel like my own bike already after just a couple of sessions, which is testament to the work the team has put in behind the scenes and also here in Spain.”

Hutchy will be back in action on the Tyco BMW S1000RR Superbike during the final day of testing at Cartagena in Spain tomorrow with his team-mates Michael Laverty, Christian Iddon and Josh Elliott. 

The whole Tyco BMW team will then take in a couple of rest days before additional track time with BMW Motorrad at Almeria next week.
