Two more appointments take Zero Motorcycles up to 16 dealerships in the British Isles
US manufacturer now has franchised dealers in Cheshire and on the Isle of Man, to meet increasing demand for award-winning all electric motorcycles.
Zero Motorcycles, the market leader in full sized electric motorcycles, has appointed two new dealerships to its burgeoning retail network, taking the total number of retailers in the British Isles to 16.
Electric Motocycles in Cheshire and Douglas based Isle of Man Motorcycles are the latest outlets to take on the award-winning electric models. Isle of Man Motorcycles are a well established multi-franchise dealership with a number of premium internal combustion engine brands, while Electric Motocycles is a new, all-electric, retailer set up to service the Cheshire and Greater Manchester area. Like all Zero Motorcycles dealerships in the UK and Ireland, the two new dealers will sell the full range of Zero Motorcycles and will offer demonstration rides to allow potential customers the opportunity to try before they buy.
Commenting on the two new appointments, Zero Motorcycles UK Country Manager Dale Robinson said:
“We’re delighted to welcome both Electric Motocycles and Isle of Man Motorcycles to the Zero family. Both will play an important role in our growth ambitions in 2020, as we look to another record year and aim to fill a number of open points within our network over the next six months.
“The North West of England has been an open point in our dealer network for a number of years now and I’m really happy that we have appointed Electric Motocycles to bring our range of award-winning products to this important area.
“Although Electric Motocycles are a new business, the team behind it have 45 years’ experience in the world of classic motorcycles. Their passion for the new generation of electric vehicles is incredible and they are very focussed on showcasing what Zero are all about through experiential marketing and getting people out on Zeros, which is a very important part of the customer journey.
“It also goes without saying that the Isle of Man is a historical home of motorcycling and over the years we have received a significant amount of interest from potential customers there. In Isle of Man Motorcycles we have found a partner which is very experienced in delivering a premium service and look forward to working with them for years to come.”
Zero’s range of electric motorcycles starts at under £10,000 on the road and includes the popular FXS supermoto, the DSR adventure styled machine and the critically acclaimed SR/F streetfighter.
Zero Motorcycles have a range of up to 220 miles, with charging times as low as an hour (varies depending on model and specification).
