The Tobermore man came off his Binch Racing Yamaha at Druids on Saturday after being caught out by the tricky conditions.

McLean’s team said he was being treated for a broken arm following the incident.

In September, he made a winning return to road racing for the first time since a crash at the Tandragee 100 in May 2019, winning the Supersport and Supertwin races for home team McAdoo Racing.

A statement from the Binch Racing team said:

“Whilst that is the end of our 2020 challenge it has given us great motivation to return in 2021. Harder, faster, better and stronger.
