Lee Johnston Injury Update
Seems injuries more severe than first thought .
Taken from Lee’s Instagram account …

‘ Sorry nothing has been released up until this moment.
As people are aware, lee crashed Thursday in the super-sport practice. He was airlifted to Belfast hospital in a critical condition after having a blood transfusion on the golf course.

It’s been a rollercoaster of a week, with lee being in intensive care since Thursday, three days on a ventilator, 8 hours in surgery.

We are please to announce after suffering a broken femur, shoulder, break in the foot and face, a number of broken ribs and a collapsed lung, lee is on the slow road to recover ‘

Sounds like Mervyn was playing it down somewhat.

Hopefully he's back to his best soon.

RE: Lee Johnston Injury Update
i bet he still has that grin on his face
in road racing if they say there serious you know its bad
anything else is classed as minor injuries
the family should have been told how serious he was even if fans/public were not told
