The World's Fastest Indian
I've been lucky enough just to have returned from sunning myself on holiday where one evening I came accross a DVD in the property I was staying called "The World's Fastest Indian".
A true story apparantly (with a fair bit of poetic licence I suspect) loosely based on the exploits of one Burt Munro & his Indian Motorcycle who was also quote:
"a member of the Indian team in the 1911 Isle of Man TT, gaining second place behind Oliver Godfrey, and in front of Arthur Moorhouse, both also Indian mounted, in the historic first 1-2-3 by the same make."
There's no TT reference in the film though as it concentrates on his attempt to set a new land speed record but nonetheless I enjoyed it & I thought others here who aren't looking for anything too factual but may be looking for a motorcycle based DVD to rent one evening, might also enjoy it?
