With Entries for the inaugural Manx Telecom Post TT Road Races arriving at race secretary George Peach’s address a few days after Regulations were sent out, it is anticipated that the three race, five class race programme will be well supported on Saturday 13th June. The club are looking for the support of all two stroke riders and sponsors to encourage the future of two-stroke racing.
Heading the list of two-stroke specialists at present is double winner at the 2009 Southern 100 International Road Races, William Dunlop. The popular Ballymoney rider will be joined by fellow Ulster quarterlitre top runner, Barry Davidson.
Both will face fierce opposition from local course expert, Chris Palmer who has amassed a total of 21 race victories over the Billown Course since his first visit in 1999.
William Dunlop will also be in action in the 125cc race and to complete his day he will compete in the 600 race on the CD Racing Yamaha. In the latter race, he will face opposition from John Burrows, Mark Buckley and Stephen Oates amongst others.
Riders, who haven’t already received regulations and entry forms, can either download the information from the official website:
http://www.southern100.com, or contact race secretary George Peach on 07624-471301 or by email:
georgepeach@manx.net.
Although entries don’t close on 10th May, would be competitors are encouraged to get their entries in early to avoid disappointment.
Be right back. I am going to go find myself, and if I leave before I get back, make sure to tell me !! -
