Metzeler National Superstock 1000 Championship

Danny Buchan, making his debut into the series, won a thriller, by inches, from the determined Jason O'Halloran after the two had traded places powrering through Clearways for the final time. Tristan Palmer took third.

The race had been re-started after two incidents in the opening two laps, involving six riders, with Tristan Palmer on pole and leading the opening lap ahead of O'Halloran but the Aussie, riding HM Plant Honda, was ahead on the second lap, but soon coming under intense pressure from Danny Buchan.

O'Halloran held the advantage, just, until Paddock Hill on the sixth lap when the MSS Colchester Kawasaki rider eased through on the inside to lead the race until Druids on lap 13 when O'Halloran front a way through.

Buchan hit back almost immediately to set up a storming finale as O'Halloran nosed through on the final lap at Clearways only for Buchan to retaliate within yards, regaining the lead and taking the victory. Palmer took third place.

Metzeler National Superstock 600 Championship

Ben Burke won a closely fought incident packed race by just 0.025secs over James East with Deane Brown.

Leon Jeacock led on the opening lap but was soon under pressure and Brown nosed through next time around, holding the upper hand through to the tenth lap before East made his move, but behind them Burke was moving rapidly into contention.

Burke moved second on lap 19 but East had the lead till three laps from the end when Burke charge through and then held on to take the victory by a slender margin.

Sunoco British 125GP Championship

Luke Hedger enjoyed his first victory in the British Championship as he led Ryan Watson by some 2.179secs over the line with Harry Hartley in third place in a race that had to be re-started after a five bike tangle shortly after the start.

Kyle Ryde made the running and was clear after 15 laps when his bike seized going into Druids and he was down and out. Hedger, who had been back in ninth place on the opening lap, had carved his way through the pack, moving into third place on lap 6.

Hedger was closing in and by lap 12 was running second and poised to take the lead with the demise of Ryde.

Behind Watson and Hartley, Matt Davies took fourth, ahead of Tarran Mackenzie who had worked his way through from 14th on the opening lap - the top five riders were all ACU Academy Cup runners.

Rapid Solicitors Ducati 848 Challenge

Leon Morris doubled on his opening round victory as he held off the fierce challenges from Mike Edwards, with barely half a second between them after 15 hectic laps of action.

Reigning champion Darren Fry took a comfortable third, running some three seconds clear of Mark Cheetham with Barry Poll ahead of Steve Jordan.

Alexey Ivanov, Jamie Poole, Robbie Brown and Aaron Brown completed the top ten finishers but there was disappointment for Kenny Gilbertson who was down and out after he and Morris touched at half distance.

Triumph Triple Challenge

Luke Jones completed a winning double as he led throughout Monday's race but he was hard pressed to keep Ashley Beech at bay, and after 15 hard laps there was just 0.181secs between them.

Peter Ward, running some five seconds down on them, took third place, but he was under pressure from Tom Weeden. Freddy Pett took fifth place ahead of last year's runner-up in the series Philip Atkinson.

Piers Hutchins, Tom Hayward, Stephanie Waddelowe and Ben Miller completed the top ten finishers.

Eastern Airways British Sidecar Championship

Tim Reeves and Gregory Cluze make it two wins from two with another start to finish victory in the 18 lap race. The duo again grabbed the holeshot and consistently pulled away during the course of the race to take a comfortable victory, with the race ending 2 laps early due to a coming together between Ian Drowne/Ryan Anderson and Gordon Shand/Lee Barratt at Clearways. Both passengers required medical attention but, fortunately, neither were seriously injured.

It was Reeves/Cluze who, like Sunday, grabbed the holeshot, this time from Scott Lawrie/James Neave but there was disappointment for Andy Peach/Charlie Richardson as their outfit ground to a halt in a plume of smoke just after they'd left the line. By lap three, Ben and Tom Birchall had found their way past Lawrie and Neave but, try as they might, they were unable to close the gap on Reeves/Cluze and the Anglo-French pairing were able to conitnually pull away as each lap was chalked up.

Behind, there was an excellent battle for third between Lawrie/Neave and Roger Lovelock/Rick Lawrence, which eventually went the way of the latter with a similar battle going on behind between Phil Bell/Ashley Hawes and Ben Holland/Lee Watson. Holland appeared to have it in the bag but Bell wasn't to be denied and he claimed the 11 points although his cause was aided by the premature finish just as it looked like Holland would go through again. Meanwhile, another superb ride came from Stephen Kershaw/Robin Wilson who, in just their 3rd race on the F1 machine, took 7th place.
