Relentless Suzuki's Alastair Seeley scored his first winning double last time out at Snetterton and now this weekend he will be bidding to end Fuchs-Silkolene British Supersport Championship leader Ben Wilson's impressive run of victories at the Cheshire circuit.
Wilson leads the title race by 49 points for the Gearlink Kawasaki team and scored a double victory back in May; the Lincolnshire ace has not been beaten at the circuit since 2009 so he will be eager to increase that statistic this weekend.
Sam Warren missed out on a podium on the last visit to Oulton Park but the Bike Interceptor Yamaha by Seton rider needs a strong finish this weekend as just two points separate him from Paul Young, Billy McConnell and Luke Mossey as the war rages for third in the standings.
Jack Kennedy remains sidelined through injury but this weekend marks the much-anticipated return of Kev Coghlan to the paddock as he deputises this weekend after a stint in the Moto2 Championship.
Dan Cooper will be seeking his second podium finish of the season and the East Coast Racing Honda pairing of Lee Johnston and Gary Johnson will be eager to finish in the top three this weekend as it has eluded them so far this season. Luke Stapleford just missed out on the podium at Snetterton though and will be aiming to build on that result this weekend for the Profile Bournemouth Kawasaki team.
