2003 will be the 40th anniversary of the first use of the helicopter to get a rider to the hospital in the shortest possible time--

The rider in question was Tony Godfrey who was riding a works Yamaha as team mate to Fumio Ito.

I would like to know if Tony is still around--The last time I saw him he was in Southampton--

Are there plans to commemorate this event in 2003 or do we wait until 2013 ????
