ROAD TRAFFIC COLLISION:
At approximately 11.25am on Sunday 31st May 2015, a serious Road Traffic Collision occurred on the Mountain Road, near to the Les Graham memorial. Involved in the collision was a motor cycle, being ridden by a visiting 60 year old male from England.
The rider was taken to hospital, but was subsequently pronounced dead.
The police have spoken to a number of witnesses but would urge anyone who has witnessed this incident to make contact with the Police on 631212
Oh how I hope that this is the last of these incidents to happen during the TT Period.

The motorcyclist who died in a road traffic collision on the Mountain Road has been named by police.
60-year-old Charles Hughes from Warrington, collided with the roadside banking near the Les Graham Memorial on the Mountain road, whilst riding his bike on Sunday.
Mr Hughes was taken to Nobles Hospital, where unfortunately he passed away.
There were no other vehicles involved in the incident.
