I know this is't really the place for this but I can't think of any body better to ask. I am about to change my mobile service provider from O2 to Vodafone and as I spend a time on the island for TT etc can any one tell me if the service is ok or at least as the same as O2 (hopefully cheaper).

Vodaphone seems to work ok in the IOM, It may be worth getting a Manx sim card though, I'm sure it would work out cheaper.I think Malcolm has a link to the website from the main page.

Vodaphone should work okay, whether it's Pay as you go or Pay Monthly, according to their website (http://www.vodaphone.co.uk).

Vodaphone does work fine on the island, but John is right, it would be cheaper to get a manx sim card, especially if your over for any length of time.
My phone didn't need to be 'chipped' to accept the manx sim either (a nokia 6310i) though I'm not sure if thats down to the phone or the network I'm on.

All networks work on the IOM but unless you've got a Manx Telecom sim card you'll be paying international call rates.
