TIME SCHEDULE: Updated times for the Indonesian GP

Check out all you need to know about the schedule for this weekend's action in Mandalika, which kicks off on March 17th

25 years after their last Grand Prix, Indonesia is set to be the focus of the motorcycle racing world once again as MotoGP™ makes its debut at the Pertamina Mandalika International Street Circuit this weekend. The trip to the island nation is set to make for an unforgettable experience for fans and riders as they flock to Lombok for Round 2 of the 2022 MotoGP™ World Championship.

Festivities kick off on Wednesday as 20 riders will join a parade through the streets of Jakarta, which will be led by the President of Indonesia Joko Widodo. Then on Thursday, it’s back to business for the riders, with the Press Conference pencilled in for 17:00 local time (GMT +8). Enea Bastianini (Gresini Racing MotoGP™), Brad Binder (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing), Pol Espargaro (Repsol Honda Team), Marc Marquez, (Repsol Honda Team) and Fabio Quartararo (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP™) will all take to the stage to field questions from the press.

Friday gives us our first track action of the weekend, with Moto3™ hitting the tarmac at 08:50 (GMT +8) for 40 minutes. Then it’s the turn of Moto2™ before MotoGP™ have the chance to refamiliarize themselves with the circuit at 10:50 for FP1. After some lunch, the three classes are back in action from 13:05, again starting with Moto3™. Friday Free Practice comes to an end at 15:50 when the premier class complete their 45-minute session.

The action heats up on Saturday as riders look to secure their qualifying places during FP3, with the lightweight class first on track from 08:50 (GMT +8), and then the intermediate class from 09:50. The Moto3™ and Moto3™ sessions will both be 40-minutes in length, while the premier class have 45 minutes from 10:50 to make sure they sit inside the top ten times.

Qualifying starts at 12:25 for the first of two sessions for Moto3™, with Moto2™ beginning at 13:25 (GMT +8). Before the battle for pole in the premier class, MotoGP™ riders have one last chance to find some race pace and fine-tune their machines during FP4 at 14:25. Once done, Q1 starts at 15:05 and Q2 at 15:30.

Warms Ups start Sunday’s action at 10:00 (GMT +8) before Moto3™ gets the racing underway at 12:00. Moto2™ see lights out at 13:20 while MotoGP™ will be the focus of everyone’s attention at 15:00.
