It is with much sadness that my husband (ex-sidecar racer) and I read about the death of Barry Pepperrell on Friday during the Classic Sidecar practice session. Barry was a great bloke, and will be missed. This is how he would have wanted to go, though. Coms and love to Kathy his partner, and Tony Smith (driver) and his family. Deb&Keith Green :cry:

Very sad, and he will be much missed around the Billown Paddock. A real character, and a lovely man.

Just 4 weeks ago I met Barry (and Kath) for what has turned out to be the one and only time. He was a "long lost" family member of mine. Lovely guy and I was hoping to get to know him better - over a few beers :wink:

Awful news though :cry: Best wishes to Kath and also to Tony's family.
