Does anyone know if Joe Dunphy is still around? I came across another Dunphy in a novel, and it got me wondering about this great TT rider, and really nice bloke! I used to get my brake drums skimmed by him at his shop in South London, and found him the most unassuming of men.
Sadly, no one on the 'other' TT website seems interested in adding or updating biographies to their otherwise excellent database.

I was wondering what happened to Joe perhaps someone could write a book 'were are they now' ?

Sadly, pikey, the way we are losing 'greats' recently, it would have to be a website, not a book! I am disappointed that the tt.com Database has effectively died, as this surely should be the equivalent of IMDB.com which gives all sorts of data about actors etc?
Is there anyone out there with the time, expertise and smooth tongue to set it up, and persuade the TTRA and others to hand over some data? There are enough experts on this forum to update it, as per Wikipedia!
