You must see the latest Duke DVD TT Celebration, with Murray Walker doing his stuff and doing it well on a subject he himself loves almost as much as I do.
A very good quality DVD and it shows the whole aspect of the TT through the eyes of riders, fans and many others.
Recommended for those winter evenings !!
Couldn't find me on it though, after 60 years of dedication I had hoped for a chance to show my side of it !!!
Have you spotted the TT Website advertising on the caps of the (LOTSW) Gorse Lea Marshals? We are expecting to have TT Website matching corporate outfits for next year's publicity(? ).
Yes, I noticed that!
Very good.
One of the really good things about this DVD is the facg that it shows so
much of the "grass roots people."
A number of marshalls get there moment of fame, however small.
I would advise any TT fan to get old of as copy to see for themselves.
For me, the book, the last of the great Road races did by way of the
printed word, and this DVD does it on screen.
Does what?
Catches what the TT is all about,
One of my highlights of the piece is the moment when Sammy Miller
is explaining how many revs his parade lap mount is pulling at one point
on the course and what speed that represents.
His joy is there for all to see and so is his "yourhful" mischievousness and exuberance.
Priceless
