The Official Armoy Road Race Launch took place on the 29th June in the picturesque setting of Portbalintrae. Mr Trevor Kane, sponsor for the GP 125cc race and proprietor of The Bayview Hotel, supplied the location for the launch including refreshments and a very fine buffet lunch.

Sponsors and guests had a great afternoon of craic in the company of riders William & Michael Dunlop, Paul Robinson, William Davison, Sam & Jim Dunlop and special guest compeer Jackie Fullerton and Liam Beckett. The weather stayed fine and a few photo opportunities were taken with sponsors and local councillors and club members.

Late news coming through at the launch included confirmation from Philip Neill at Tas Racing that they’d given permission for Guy Martin to ride at Armoy.
